We purchased Rosa in fall 2005 at the age of 17.  The Bucks, who we were working for at the time, had a fino daughter out of her and Simbolo at the farm and we went to look at a filly of hers by Nevado for a client and loved the filly.  Carlos had also been training a fino gelding that was a grandson of hers (later went on to win 2006 Nationals in 3yr Fino Geldings and 3d in the Grand Championship)  Carlos got on Rosa and even out of training for ovrer 10 years, she had the most marvelous collection and quickness with quiet croup and a smoothness we long for (see a clip of the video below).  We had to take Rosa home.  We later found out Rosa was a National Champion Fino Filly in her day!

She is a daughter or Contrallano - son of Contrapunto by the mare Castellana.  This links Rosa to our Patrimony.  Rosa's mother, Soraya Universal is a daughter of Resorte IV on a Gaucho I mare!  Such incredible bloodlines and still very fertile, Rosa had an amazing filly in January 2007 by Mandato de la Luisa.  Very quick and collected with tight mechanics, we are very pleased with this cross.  Rosa gave us another outstanding filly by Delirio del Valparaiso in early February 2008. We will try to breed Rosa one more time to Destello de la Divina.
